About Svanhild

Hello,

Svanhild Design is my sole proprietorship, founded and run by me, Svanhild Lindhjem. I am a dedicated entrepreneur and knitting designer, located in the heart of Oslo.

Although I've been knitting pretty much all my life, it wasn't until late 2022 that I decided to take the leap and follow my dream of becoming a knitwear designer. To ensure high quality in my knitting patterns, I have invested time in courses and become a skilled knitting designer. You can benefit from that, since among other things I have learned the art of calculating knitting patterns for garments in many different sizes.

My recipes are clear, often with picture descriptions and occasionally with useful video explanations, easily accessible through QR codes.

Creating your own designs gives a wonderful feeling of mastery. I am bubbling over with ideas for new projects, with the aim of offering professional knitting patterns both nationally and internationally.

Knitting is balm for the soul.
